Gone are the days when my people lurked in the depths of forests and the darkness of caves. Nowadays the people of the Moon Elves live peacefully among people, gnomes and other peoples in peace and harmony. True, I wasn't much of a baker, so I spent most of my time with my father in his forge, learning the secrets of gunsmithing and learning how to use a bow and arrow. My father knew a lot about military affairs, and there was no weapon that my father did not understand. Mom, however, for some reason did not like our activities with him.
One day, when I was helping my father sort out the supply of materials and metals for work, a lord came to him. Seemingly rich and influential, the gentleman began to ask his father something. An order or some kind of weapon. However, the father refused, sensing evil, which angered the buyer and he, not receiving what he wanted, began to threaten his father and left the shop loudly slamming the door. True, by evening the incident was safely forgotten and everyone went to bed after dinner as usual. If only I knew that I shouldn't forget that scandal. If only we had been more careful... That same night someone broke into our house. I woke up to the loud clanging of steel. Father crossed swords with a burglar! But my father lost this fight; the opponent turned out to be difficult. His skill with daggers was excellent, and he seriously wounded Dad and escaped. The father was saved, although the wounds were serious. Mom never left his side.

I decided to remember everything my dad taught me and find out everything myself by following the buyer after the arrival of whom our troubles began. Call him to account.
During the day I found that gentleman and followed his movements all day and evening. He turned out to be a newcomer and stopped at a new tavern that had recently opened. It was difficult to sneak up to the window of his apartment unnoticed. But I didn't have time to hear or see anything, because I was discovered by his guards and was forced to hastily hide. The mercenaries of this rich man pursued me for a very long time, until I hid in the forest outside the city, but even there I was unlucky to be surrounded by the Moon Guard...
